This past Monday we were honored to have our friends Tiffany and Darwin come visit us and share about their life as missionaries. They plan to leave within the next month or so for Costa Rica where they will be working with CFCI ( Christ for the City International). Tiffany and Darwin got married last year in September and I was able to attend the wedding but didn't really get a chance to meet Darwin properly as it was an incredibly crazy few days for the bride and groom. It was such a blessing to be able to spend some time with him during this visit and really get to what an amazing couple they make and how on fire for Christ they are. While in Costa Rica Darwin will be heading up a team that's goals are to give leaders in the church a solid theological background and also give them the administrative skills to build solid, Christ centered churches. His passion lies in equipping leaders and mentoring. I can tell he's a very good teacher. Tiffany will attend the language school in Costa Rica and also work with one or more of the other programs that CFCI has established in the area. They have been working hard, praying hard and traveling to raise funds for their trip.
